Administrative Assistant
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to extensive interaction with patients both in person and on the phone, scheduling initial and follow up appointments, tracking medical records and imaging information, extensive computerized calendar and scheduling management, tracking and processing insurance and visit payments.
Successful candidates will be articulate with strong people skills and extensive computer skills. Computer literacy should include familiarity with word processing, spread sheets and scheduling / calendar software. The office works in a team environment, and successful candidates will have a strong sense of team work and willingness to be of service to patients, vendors and other contacts.
Growth potential: The candidate in this position is eligible to train to become a surgical scheduling coordinator or an office manager.
Salary based on experience. Benefits include health insurance, supplemental insurance, paid time off and matching 401K.

Medical Biller
The Medical Biller works with a small group focusing on all aspects of payment and billing for the medical office. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to all aspects of pre-certification of insurance for all ranges of patients, electronic claim filing, posting all charges and payment, initiating and overseeing any appeals processes and assisting in providing reports to practice management and the Chief Accounting Officer as requested.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years experience in medical billing and be familiar with medical billing codes and standard billing and coding software. Additional computer expertise is needed in general word processing and use of spreadsheets. Successful candidates must have strong people skills and have demonstrated abilities to handle a wide range of people, problem solve in a positive and helpful manner, and have the attitude of being of service to those people with whom the Medical Biller interacts.
Growth potential: The candidate in this position is eligible to train into billing supervision and management.
